Wolfenstein: Enemy Within, two classic Elder Scrolls games free on Steam

Bethesda just added a bunch of classic PC games to Steam. Some of them are free.

As we reported on our sister site, Game Freaks 365, Bethesda added five games to Steam today. Among the classic games that were added to Valve’s platform are three free games in the Elder Scrolls and Wolfenstein franchises.

Here are the free games that got added to Steam today:

  • The Elder Scrolls Arena
  • The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
  • Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory

Bethesda announced earlier this year that it was closing its proprietary PC game launcher. In fact, you can start migrating your games from the Bethesda Launcher to Steam today. Users will no longer have access to or play games with Bethesda Launcher starting on May 11.

In terms of the free games, you may want to claim them as soon as you can. There is certainly no guarantee that they will remain free, although they are over twenty years old. So Bethesda probably does not expect to make anything from them.
