Sega Genesis Mini
As for the Genesis Mini, the system launched last September to mark the 30th anniversary of the Sega Genesis in North America. The Genesis Mini includes 42 games and is based on the design of the original Sega Genesis, although the Mini is 55% smaller.
The release of Sega’s micro-console comes after the commercial success of Nintendo’s NES Classic and SNES Classic, as well as the commercial failure of Sony’s PlayStation Classic.
